RESOLUTION  2005-04

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE BAREFOOT BAY RECREATION
DISTRICT AMENDING  RESOLUTION NO.2004-02;
 AMENDING THE FY 2004/2005 APPROVED BUDGET;
 PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

            WHEREAS, The Barefoot Bay Board of Trustees adopted by Resolution 2004-02 an operating Budget for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2004, and ending September 30, 2005; and

            WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees is desirous of amending the previously approved Budget to include the Drainage Control Structure Modification Project (The Weir Project); and

            WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees has found and determined that the following amendments are reasonably necessary to provide for the operations of the District for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2004 and ending September 30, 2005; and

            WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees has held all required public hearings on the said amendments.

            NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE BAREFOOT BAY RECREATION DISTRICT, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:

Section 1.

            The Stormwater Maintenance Fund is increased on the revenue side by  $346,000:

$100,000 loan from the Florida League of Cities, $100,000 loan from the General Fund, $50,000 loan from the Shopping Center Fund and $96,000 Increase in Fund Balance. The new fund total will be $485,084.

Section 2.

            The Stormwater Maintenance Fund is increased on the expenditure side by $346,000: Community Center Weir Project reduced by $139,084; The Drainage Control Structure Modification Project increased by $468,084: and Repair and Maintenance Account increased by $17,000. The new fund total will be $485,084.

Section 3.

            This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.

          PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE BAREFOOT BAY RECREATION DISTRICT HELD THIS 28^th DAY OF JUNE, 2005.
